Be sure the guide is firmly clamped onto the blade and that the blade is seated all the way into the guide.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMove the knife and guide over the sharpening stone keeping the ceramic rub bar in contact with the stone, slide the knife the length of the stone in a sweeping motion so that every portion of the edge comes in contact with the stone.
