My dad and his dad owned a paving company while I was growing up, and my other grandfather was an apple farmer and did their level best to provide everything they could to make help their families thrive - I owe them so much.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLoyal is comprised of the following scent notes: \u003c\/strong\u003eCedar, Classic Old Spice, Musk, Leather, Coffee, Caramel, Amber, Vanilla, Soil, Petrichor, and the faintest hint of car fumes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile we still stand behind our OG base 100% and do not currently have plans to discontinue it, it has been five years since it was released and it was time to create a more modern shaving soap formula.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe tested ingredient after ingredient racking up fifty-six test batches before we settled on this one. The main secret is a massive amount of silk hydrolysate which is a very conditioning, natural, film-forming agent which is used in a lot of anti-aging creams (anti-aging statement not evaluated by the FDA, Yaya, yadda, etc).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome of my testers reported feeling a skin tightening sensation - be aware that this is the film left by the silk hydrolysate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFor best results,\u003c\/strong\u003e load soaking wet brush for 40 seconds in the tub, then build lather on wet face for an additional minute - this is a heavy loading soap, depending on your brush you will use 3-10 grams of soap per shave. This is due to the high of skin care ingredients to soap ratio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4oz of tallow based soap in large plastic tub.
